This GREAT news is somewhat tempered by recent reports that the FAA’s aircraft certification resources are stressed to the maximum. One way of minimizing the delays inherent in the FAA approval process is the use of delegation authorities (be sure to examine the FAA’s policy review of all of these extensions of their purview).
