Beechcraft marks 50th anniversary of King Air
For an aircraft to fly for 50 years is to establish the credentials for the Aviation Hall of Fame. The King Air was born on September of 1964, 7,200 of these iconic aircraft have been delivered and those birds have logged 60 million flight hours. That’s a remarkable history and one which should be celebrated.
The vehicle is a utilitarian plane which has served businesses, has been the primary aircraft for commuter airlines and is an important asset for the military.
Happy Birthday, King Air and many more!
