ARTICLE: Voss clinches air traffic oversight role

Bill Voss has a long history of contributing to aviation safety, particularly in the Air Traffic discipline (Director, Air Traffic Systems Development, 1999-2002; Director Terminal Business 2002-2004) plus the international aspects thereof (ICAO Director of Air Navigation Bureau 2004-2006). He added to his resume with his six years as the President and CEO of the Flight Safety Foundation. All of those skills should add to his new challenge as Deputy to Anthony Ferrante in the Air Traffic Safety Oversight Service.

Mr. Voss’ broad-based safety work and recognized status as an international safety expert/advocate should add to his stature to recommend to the Air Traffic Organization improvements to their policies, procedures and operations. The JDA Air Traffic Team looks forward to working with the new AOV Deputy Director.
