Where are the new UAS executives, FAA?

There is no new article linked below, rather it is the republication of a month old JDA Journal posted in response to an important FAA announcement about the creation of two new, critical positions to support the contentious UAS implementation. While the odd structural location of the two executives, the splitting of their job descriptions and the enormity of their tasks make the filling of the two slots difficult, the urgency of the UAS regulatory development to parallel the expansion of the private sector should justify a swift selection of these two individuals.

For the past few years, appointment of FAA positions has not been the topic for a press release; so if one or two hires have been completed, our apologies. Some publicity for past or future naming of such important UAS players would be most appropriate.
