Rep. Bill ShusterWilliam (Bill) Franklin Shuster (R-Pa.) will not seek reelection this year, becoming the fourth term-limited House Republican committee chairman to call it quits.

Shuster told the Washington Examiner in an interview published on Tuesday that he wants to focus on working with President Trump to pass an infrastructure bill this year and then retire.

“I thought it was the best decision for me to focus 100 percent on my final year as the chairman of the Transportation Committee, working with the president and other Democrats and Republicans to pass an infrastructure bill, which is much needed to rebuild America,” Shuster said.
