ARTICLE: Frontier Airlines looks to serve South Jersey region with Delaware airport

Atlantic City is in South Jersey and its airport is supposed to be the gateway to its beaches, casinos and entertainment. The marketing of ACY was transferred from the South Jersey Transportation Authority to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the owner/operator of LaGuardia, Newark, Kennedy, Teterboro and Stewart Airports.

Frontier’s business model, one that uses a four-tier pricing system which allows potential flyers to choose basic ticket packages with fewer amenities, would appear to be well suited for the highly discretionary customers who would travel to the Boardwalk and other attractions.
