FUN FRIDAY: Academic Study finds better way to Lower Fares

Universiti Putra Malaysia provided the funds to have three professors do an academic study on the potential for greater seating density (depicted↑ above) and as reported in the below↓article, the study found that jamming more passengers into the airplane would result in lower fares. Isn’t amazing what interesting conclusions one can make if you have a PhD?

Neither the article, which quotes an FAA source, nor the research mentions whether the standing position is safe!
