Vice President of Airports
Cynthia Schultz is Vice President of Airports where she is responsible for airport SMS, airline negotiation and development support services, airport sustainability, airport strategic planning, airport security, new technology/products for airports and training for airports and airlines.
Prior to joining JDA in 2011, Ms Schultz was the Director of Great Falls International Airport. Ms. Schultz implemented a $109 million capital improvement plan including developing a major FedEx regional hub, runway line of sight correction and category III ILS installation, terminal renovation, heavy maintenance station hangar renovations and a rental car wash station. Ms. Schultz' team attracted two new airlines, a regional jet heavy maintenance and paint station and partnered with the community to attract major employers in financial services, agri-processing, and aviation assembly. During her tenure airport assets increased by $95 million, enplanements increased 20%, airport occupancy increased 132% and the airport attracted $50.6 million in federal investment.
Ms. Schultz served as the Director of Construction for a medium sized grocery chain. She was responsible for maintenance, planning, renovations and new construction of 42 stores in 5 states.
Ms Schultz served as a Senior Engineer for the Boeing Company. She managed the composite tooling program for the 777 Empennage. The 777 Empennage was designated a critical path program because it was the largest full composite structure ever attempted on a commercial aircraft.
Ms. Schultz holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University. In 1992 she earned her Professional Engineering license in the State of Washington, and in 2005 she received her Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) certification from the American Association of Airport Executive.
